Now it’s time to get your creative juices flowing once more as we ask for your ideas and designs for a label that will truly stand out from the crowd for our member-designed wine.
Having now named the wine – Pioneer Pinot Grigio – it’s now time to create the label that will catch the eye, shout about the wine’s quality, take customers on a journey to the wine’s Californian routes, and build on our pioneer heritage. It’s up to you what you think might do that – we want you to be as creative as you can. Think about your favourite wine, and what makes you want to pick up a bottle to try. As colleagues you may have the advantage of seeing what looks good on the shelf or even asking customers what made them choose the wine.
And if you submit an idea, you could win a trip to O’Neill Vinters and Distillers in California (plus runners up prizes to visit our bottling plant in Durham or a bottle of the wine when it’s released). Have a look at our member-wine competition details.
You can either send in a design on paper, design it online or if drawing isn’t really your thing, then you could even describe what you think it should look like. Enter via the options in your online Membership account where all the details you need will be. Closing date for this stage is 21 May.
Just think, if your design wins, you’ll be able to see it sitting loud and proud on our shelves from October – and you may also be asked to sign bottles!
