We’re proud to be the first national retailer to switch all of our own brand fresh meat to British and show our commitment and support for our farming community.

Sunday 11 June, is Open Farm Sunday and we’d love you to join us on one of our farms to discover what it means to be a farmer, learning about all the work they do to produce such fabulous food. After the success of last year, we’re opening seven of our farms to the public and we’d love it if you’d get involved!

Open Farm Sunday

What to expect on the day

Last year, we had a whopping 6,700 visitors attend Open Farm Sunday, with 96% of those who attended rating the day as excellent/very good. This year will be our third year in a row as co-sponsor, so we’re hoping it’ll be bigger and better than ever before!

Each farm is unique, from fresh produce farms, dairy farms and beef, so depending on the farm you choose, there’ll be different activities for you to get involved in. Some of the activities might include; tractor rides, farm tours, animal petting, bouncy castles, Co-op goodie bags and selfie competitions. You can find out what activities your closest farms will be hosting by entering your location here (for stores, please visit www.farmsunday.org/visit-a-farm on your personal devices).

You’ll also get to sample some of our fantastic food and, if you’re lucky, there might even be a BBQ!
