Performers on the stage at Cupar Musical Society

I’m Raymond Young, Vice President of CAMS. In April we were absolutely over the moon to receive £1,860 from the Co-op’s Local Community Fund.

We rely on funding to keep our society going and the money has meant we’ve been able to improve the lighting in Cupar Corn Exchange, where we perform.

It’s made such a difference to our performances and many other children’s drama, music and dance groups.

The aim of any production is to transport the audience into another world. The lighting has made that possible and the setting of scenes is much easier and more effective.

The new system also makes life on the stage better as it’s LED lighting and doesn’t leave us melting on stage! It also uses less energy. We can’t believe the difference it’s made.
