December 1, 2017 — Co-op Colleagues
Co-op Employee Assistance Programme
New number, new provider
The Co-op Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) is here to help you, whenever you need it.
From today (Friday 1 December), Lifeworks will be the new EAP provider and there’ll be a new number: 0800 069 8854.
Lifeworks will continue to provide the same 24/7 support and practical help on a wide range of personal and work-related issues, from health and wellbeing to family matters and money.
It’s independent and totally confidential. And there’s no charge for Co-op colleagues.
Make a note of the new number now.
Having been on the pilot for Lifeworks, this is a great addition for us Colleagues. Anything you wish to know to help wellbeing is a great positive and we are lucky that we are part of a Co-operative that cares.
I received counseling through EAS due to bereavement which really helped me. Unfortunately there was only 6 sessions available, but I feel I got a lot out of them to help me move forward but would loved to have continued for a while longer.
E.A. P. Great idea and help
We need to have a alternative number that doesn’t cost us loads of money to get the help people need please?
Its a Freephone number? 0800 always has been, and always will be, Freephone. And most mobile phone operators now treat it as such too now.
I thought 0800 numbers have been free from mobile and landlines for a couple of years now: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-33330163
0800 numbers are free
I think we are very lucky to have this available to us. Thank you
