Transforming Society Award at the Global Sustainability Film Awards
Our ‘Great things happen when we work together’ film tells the story of how, over the past 10 years, Co-op customers and members have helped transform the community of Tilimuqui in Argentina. As a direct result of the partnership between our Co-op and the Fairtrade producers the area now has a reliable water supply, a new school and now a hospital. Convenience Pizza Retailer of the Year and Most Indulgent Pizza at the Pizza, Pasta and Italian Food Association Awards
From Rome to Las Vegas, Naples to Chicago… the pizza team have searched out the latest trends and best traditional recipes to improve our range – and it’s paid off. Our Indian inspired Irresistible Keralan Chicken pizza picked up the Most Indulgent award with its spice infused base and creamy coconut curry sauce. Kate Addison, pizza product developer said: “We have really thrown ourselves into the world of pizza, and we are honoured to be recognised in this way.”
Four PRCA Awards (Public Relations and Communications Association)
Our report into loneliness and isolation, ‘Trapped in a Bubble’ brought home three PRCA Awards: Broadcast Award, Corporate Social Responsibility Award and Campaign of the Year with our ‘Great things happen when we work together’ campaign grabbing the Media Relations Award. These awards show how we’re getting recognised for our campaigning activities and the work that goes on behind the scenes to make them stand out in a crowded news agenda.
Huge congratulations to everyone involved in helping our Co-op stand out among the competition.
