December 21, 2017 — Co-op Colleagues
Generous colleagues are spreading Christmas cheer across the country
As well as getting ready for one of the busiest times of year, Co-op colleagues have been busy dropping off presents and stockings, and visiting much loved customers.
Here’s a round-up of our favourite pictures shared on Colleague Facebook this week – don’t forget to share yours too.

Birtley Depot collected gifts and donations for the charity Children North East.

I remember walking through the city centre (Manchester) last year early morning on my way to work and I felt an overwhelming sense of pride.
As many in Manchester know, we are now the capital for homeless people and rough sleepers. I try to do what I can but theres only so much you can do.
Whilst walking through town you can walk passed 12-15 rough sleepers on any route through town to work. Last year each rough sleeper I walked passed had a Coop stocking bag next to them!
A lot of people do things like this for the PR but you could tell that someone had walked up to them and placed a stocking bag full of food next to them so they had a treat for when they woke up.
This is what giving is all about!
Fantastic – what Christmas should be about
