Co-op Electrical

Colleague members will get five double discount days this month – the usual payday ones, and one the day after each England game!

So you can get 10% off all products on Friday 8 June, Saturday 9 June, Tuesday 19 June, Monday 25 June and Friday 29 June.

NOTE (added 19/6): to access the extra 5% discount on the 19, 25 and 29 June, use the discount code ENG5 as advertised on the site’s homepage. Then, when you enter your colleague membership number, you’ll get your additional 5% discount off. This promotion runs for 24hrs from 9am on each day.

  1. Hi, it is only giving 5% discount on Electrical today but should be 10%, can you advise please


    • You need to enter your Membership number at the checkout as usual to get your normal 5% colleague discount and then also add the code ENG5 in the promotional code box at the checkout to effectively get double (10%) discount. You can’t stack codes so only one promotional code can be used. Hope that helps.

  2. When do we get double discount on co-op electrical – it states “the usual payday ones” – when is this?

  3. Also, remember to nominate your local cause through the website, not enough members are doing this, it takes 2 minutes and you get to donate to a local cause that resonates with you.

  4. Will we be getting the old employee member pay-out that we used to get and were told would be returning 2018 in our “being Coop” sessions?

  5. Grateful for the double discount on Coop goods but not a great benefit on branded goods considering students can obtain the same discount. If we really want to encourage our colleagues to recommend our products and services to family and friends then we should differentiate for our colleagues and offer real benefits.

    • How does offering a bigger discount on Coop goods than branded goods not encourage colleagues to use & recommend our products? Surely this answers your own question.
      We get great offers on funeralcare, insurance etc that isn’t available to anyone other than colleagues…or would you rather massive discounts that cut into profits resulting in job losses to cover the shortfall of the discount provided?

      • Hi, I think you miss the point and need to think outside of the box. We have some great products and services that many of our colleagues are proud of, including me, however the recent Pulse survey showed that we are not reaching out to everyone. We need something different to motivate those colleagues into visiting our stores and experiencing our services and perhaps by offering the wider discount this would encourage those in to our stores and then we would be able to showcase our great products. Stronger Coop, Stronger Communities.
