Clare Maclauchlan, National Development Manager in Logistics, won a prestigious Everywoman in Transport and Logistics award last week.
Clare won the ‘Warehousing Above and Beyond’ award and was recognised as inspirational for the difference she makes to her colleagues and community, particularly in encouraging and mentoring more women and young people into taking up careers in logistics and transport.
The Everywoman in Transport and Logistics awards recognise women at all stages of their career for going above and beyond the call of duty or being inspirational leaders. Clare was one of 36 finalists from across the entire industry.
Clare said of the win:
“It was fantastic to attend the awards alongside so many inspirational women. I’m so proud to win an award myself and also that three of the finalists were from Co-op. I hope these awards help to raise the profile of the career opportunities available in transport and logistics and encourage more women and young people to consider taking a role in the sector.”
Clare is also a graduate of shining stars, a diversity and inclusion pioneer, a school governor and an avid charity supporter.
Well done Clare!
