In August we told you how we’ve made it even easier for you to say thank you, wherever you are, to any colleague across Co-op.
It might be a colleague you don’t see every day or someone who works in another Food store, funeral home, or one of our other businesses.
We launched coop.co.uk/thankyou where colleagues can say thank you using email cards and certificates.
We’ve already made some improvements based on your feedback:
- You can send a card to a team
- You can edit the certificates to make them more personal
- We’ve increased the word count for personal messages
- It’s easier and safer to send digital cards to Co-op colleagues who don’t have a Co-op email address
Other ways to say thank you
At the start of this year we gave out 325 Everyday thank you boxes across the organisation.
It’s brilliant to see people using the gift tags, selfie frames and cards, and sharing their thank you’s on social media using #BeingCoop. Please keep doing this.
You can order boxes, or more items for the boxes, from your own budget by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org. If you work in a Food store please speak to your area manager.
Sharing your #BeingCoop stories
You can also share your #BeingCoop stories at coop.co.uk/thankyou to appear on our Wall of Fame.
We’ve been putting them on the big screens in the support centre, One Angel Square, so that colleagues working here can see how other colleagues across the business are living our Ways of Being Co-op every day.
Also a reminder you can nominate your colleagues for a #BeingCoop Award between 7 January and 17 February 2019.
Look back at the 2018 winners and their inspirational stories.
We’ll tell you more about the categories and how to nominate in January.
