Star of Mock the Week and The Thick of It, Chris Addison

For the second year running, Co-op is teaming up with Social Enterprise UK to support their annual campaign Social Saturday.

It’s an opportunity to inspire new co-operation and petition for more support for co-ops and social enterprises.

Please share your stories on social media about how Co-op is different and about other co-ops and social enterprises in your area. Use #SocialSaturday2018 and #TheCoopWay.

Social enterprises are making a difference in your community and around the world. They’re creating jobs where they’re needed most and tackling some of the biggest challenges we face – from homelessness to climate change.

We’re proud to support co-ops and social businesses to create stronger communities

One of the reasons I’m proud to work for our Co-op is the real difference we’re making every day in our communities. Since we launched the Local Community Fund, we’ve been able to give back £24m to more than 12,000 causes.

Read more from Russell Gill, Head of Co-operative Relations, on why we’re a leading partner, and more ways to get involved.
