This year’s final issue of Let’s Talk About Food landed in stores today, and it’s celebrating the amazing work we’ve all done in 2018. It’s great to read about everything that’s happened across Co-op – we’ve made it happen together and we should share every success.

For me and my team, it’s been a big year. We spent the summer on the road, bringing our pop-up store to five festivals across the country; we toured parks far and wide supporting our partnership with parkrun; and we stood in many a field showcasing our fantastic products at different agri shows. It’s been so exciting to be a part of all of these, but I’d have to say that my ultimate highlight has been helping reopen our Co-op on the cobbles.

I’d be stunned if any colleagues missed the news of our store on Coronation Street. In ITV’s biggest product placement agreement to date, we unveiled Weatherfield’s Co-op to a national audience and brought out some very popular bags for life.

The store’s appearing in scene after scene on tv; it’s even getting in the Christmas spirit with decorations! I’m feeling even more festive, because now’s the time to share our colleague competition.

We’re giving away three pairs of tickets to a Coronation Street set tour on Friday 1 March. You’ll get a guided tour of all Weatherfield’s sights, and you’ll learn about all the tricks of the trade and special effects on set.

If you’d like the chance to take the tour with a guest of your choice, it’s easy to enter. Just email and tell us who you’d bring with you.* The competition closes on 6 January, so get entering!

  1. Outlook tells me is no longer a valid email address..

    • Hi Naz, that’s odd! I just checked the inbox and we’re getting plenty of entries through so it doesn’t appear to be an issue with the email address. Would you mind trying again? Sorry, not meaning to condescend, more for my peace of mind! Thanks

      • No message from Outlook this morning.. seems to have resolved itself. Were you receiving emails before 2pm yesterday? That’s when I had the message.

        • Hi again, I’m afraid I have no idea! Glad it’s sorted now though, and good luck in the competition 🙂

  2. I was fortunate enough to win a tour of the set earlier this year – it was a brilliant day out, can’t recommend it highly enough. You get proper back stage access, and can wander through all the different properties. Get your entry in for a great day out!

  3. In the terms, ITV’s registered office isn’t the address you’ve listed. Also clause 15 mentions clause 15 below, but should read clause 16?
