Nominations open early next year for the #BeingCoop Awards 2019.

No matter where you work, or what you do, from 7 January you can nominate your colleagues at coop.co.uk/thankyou for going above and beyond, and bringing our Ways of Being Co-op to life.

Please get thinking over the festive season who stands out for you, and who deserves to be recognised.

This year’s awards were a brilliant success with nearly 2,000 nominations from colleagues across Co-op.

We’ve made some changes

You’ll have noticed we’ve changed the name of the awards. We realised the Thank You for Being Co-op Awards was a bit of a mouthful!

#BeingCoop Awards also encourages colleagues to keep sharing their stories on Facebook and Twitter (@coopukcolleague).

Last year’s Co-op Magic Award voted for by members is now called the Co-op Member Choice Award, so make sure you encourage members to get nominating in January.

We’ve also added another category making a lucky 13 categories. The Co-op Apprentice of the Year celebrates the achievements of our many apprentices across the business.

Send your colleagues a festive card to say thank you

Remember, these awards aren’t the only way you can recognise your colleagues.

There’s the Everyday Thank You boxes featuring cards, selfie frames and gift tags. You can order boxes, or more items for the boxes, from your own budget by emailing thankyouforbeingcoop@coop.co.uk. If you work in a Food store please speak to your area manager.

At coop.co.uk/thankyou you can also say thank you using email cards and certificates.

Example festive card

There’s now a festive version of the online cards so you can pass on your thanks with a seasonal sparkle.

Look out for more info about the awards in the New Year.
