As we head towards the festive season, everyone’s got 101 things to think about. At the moment, top of my Christmas chores list is checking Santa and I are in sync, thinking about the Christmas Day spread and wracking my brains to figure out what to buy Auntie Flo!

If you’re anything like me and have a lot to focus on at Christmas, you’re also likely to forget about the last post. I’ve got friends and family far and wide, and they look forward to receiving my cards and Season’s Greetings. My worst Christmas nightmare is buying and wrapping all my presents only to miss out on getting them delivered.

Good job for me (and for any other busy Christmas elves), our Co-op Post Offices are on hand. They’ll take care of all our posting needs before these dates:

  • Tuesday 18 December – 2nd Class
  • Thursday 20 December – 1st Class
  • Friday 21 December – Parcel Force Express
  • Saturday 22 December (before 12pm) – Special Delivery

That still gives me plenty of time to forget two days in a row, but still make sure all my hard work pays off and everyone I care about gets the gifts I’ve chosen for them, in time for Christmas. If you want to do the same, you can find your local Co-op Post Office with our handy locator.

Good luck and Merry Christmas!

  1. The post office opposite my store is for sale as a going concern. Currently only opening 9-1 M-F. The village is up in arms about it. Can we buy it and integrate it into our store? Darton, Barnsley.

  2. You may have checked your list twice, but I think you missed off the posting dates for worldwide and for 2nd class. Thanks for trying to be helpful, but please make sure you include everything in the future. And for anyone else reading this, the last posting dates are: Tue 18 Dec for 2nd class (UK), Fri 14 Dec for ‘static’ HM forces (sorry, already too late for ‘mobile’ forces).

Internationally it’s: Fri 14 Dec for Canada, Czech Republic, Italy, Poland and USA; Sat 15 Dec for Finland, Sweden; Mon 17 Dec for Austria, Denmark, Germany, Iceland, Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Slovakia, Spain, Switzerland; and Tue 18 Dec for Belgium, France, Ireland, Luxembourg.

Head to for the latest info.
