On Sunday morning, Steve appeared on BBC 1’s Andrew Marr show.

He covered our plans for Brexit, explaining the need to do the right thing by our suppliers whilst passing on as little as possible to our customers.

He talked about some of the things we’re doing to create a modern Co-op for the 21st century which make a difference in communities, like the investment from our pension fund into social housing, our growing support for Co-op academy schools, and our innovative approach to home delivery.

He also called for Government to ‘sprinkle a little bit of co-operation’ to try to find their way through on Brexit and asked them to consider broader social issues having an impact on communities in the UK such as health and education.
