By Laura Lonsdale, Travel Insurance Marketing Manager

This weekend is special as I’m delighted to let colleagues know they can receive Double Discount on travel insurance, annual multi-trip and single trip, from now until 31 July 2019 inclusive. This allows colleagues to take advantage of our travel insurance offer with a 20% discount, as the usual discount is normally 10%.

I’m really proud of Co-op Travel Insurance as it provides cover for our customers and members of any age and with any medical condition. Terms and conditions apply*.

There’s some key information about the discount that colleagues need to know:

  • The code for both annual multi-trip and single trip cover is Colleague20
  • The code can be used online or over the phone (0330 400 1503 and lines are open Mon – Fri 8am – 10pm, Sat – Sun 9am – 5pm)
  • The offer is for new policies only and ends at midnight on 31 July 2019
  • The discount excludes optional extras and cover for pre-existing medical conditions
  • It can’t be used in conjunction with any other discount codes

Don’t forget on Friday 5 and Saturday 6 July, you can also get 20% off all own brand products in Food stores as it’s Double Discount weekend!

* Excludes anyone who is receiving or waiting for medical tests or treatment for any medical condition or set of symptoms that have not yet been diagnosed, and anyone who is travelling against the advice of a medical practitioner or travelling to get medical treatment abroad.

  1. As with most Co-op insurance products the price is just not competitive in the market…….

  2. “I’m really proud of Co-op Travel Insurance as it provides cover for our customers and members of any age and with any medical condition. Terms and conditions apply*.” says it provides cover for people with any medical condition…

    But excludes pre existing conditions?

As someone with a long term chronic illness… I think ill have to stick with a company I know will insure me in black and white. I would have loved to stick with the coop. Such a shame.

    • I thought the same, excludes the majority of people who would have wished to use the Co-op Insurance. Not very equality friendly …
