We’ve started 2020 as we mean to go on, picking up not one but two awards in the tenth annual Moneynet Personal Finance awards. These awards acknowledge the best personal finance providers and products from the last twelve months, identifying the companies that have gone the extra mile and delivered excellent deals for customers.

All of the winners are selected behind closed doors so it’s a true testament to the strength of our products to be recognised.

I’m delighted to share that Co-op Funeralcare took home Best Funeral Plan Provider while Co-op Travel Insurance successfully collected the Best Travel Insurance Provider.

Continuing a run of success for our Insurance business, Co-op Car Insurance has also been acknowledged as one of the UK’s best for 2020 in the Consumer Intelligence Awards.

The Consumer Intelligence Awards are unique as they’re based on the feedback of 50,000 customers, making it the largest insurance focused survey of its kind. Companies are scored in five different categories of claims satisfaction, customer satisfaction, customer service, customer trust and recommendations by customers.

There’s no overall winner, but as it’s all based on policyholder feedback, the results come directly with the seal of approval from our customers. We were named in all five categories, further cementing our position as one of the top five car insurance companies in the UK right now which is a huge achievement.
