We’re really excited to let you know that our festival of learning, Leadfest, is returning next month and you can book onto learning sessions now.
Our leaders and colleagues’ personal growth is really important, we want you to succeed.
This year’s Leadfest theme is, ‘creating a shift in our leadership starts with me’ – and there are lots of amazing things planned for you to do this! Things are slightly different this year because of coronavirus and all the exciting sessions we have planned for leaders and colleagues will be hosted online.
Leadfest Summer begins on 13 July until 14 August. The theme of the festival will be brought to life in lots of different ways which are focused on resilience and wellbeing, forging relationships through meaningful conversations, developing yourself and others and creating our Co-op environment.
There are lots of different sessions to book onto including:
- Leaders Unplugged – ask our leaders all about their careers and how they’ve progressed
- Action Learning Sessions – smaller groups where you can work with colleagues virtually to work through any tasks/challenges you are facing
- Panel discussions
We’ve also got lots of resources such as podcasts and book clubs to support your learning. We’ve even planned in a session for your family to get involved in too, Unstoppable Kids, which is focused on children’s mental wellbeing – but there’s great tips for adults too.
You can find the full LeadFest line up in this e-mag, you’ll also be able to book onto sessions via the links in the magazine on MyLearning.
Leadfest Autumn begins later this year and is primarily for our operational Food leaders to ensure they can access learning when, hopefully, the coronavirus situation and challenges they’re facing have calmed down. Food colleagues should definitely make the most of sessions like Leaders Unplugged which is running in summer though.
This is a fantastic opportunity to set aside time for your personal development and we hope you make the most of Leadfest this year. You can also join our Leadfest Yammer group if you’d like to keep up to date and find out about what’s been going on behind the scenes.
