Cook with Co-op

By Rosanne Pell, Assistant Partnerships Manager

Our partnership with parkrun has gone from strength to strength over the past few years. We love encouraging healthy living and healthy eating within our communities and with colleagues, that’s why our partnership with parkrun is so important to us – a community that encourages everyone to get up and go no matter your fitness level.

Since August, we’ve been encouraging everyone to walk, jog or run on a route of your choosing with (not)parkrun. Now, in an exciting venture with parkrun, we’re pleased to announce our new Cook with Co-op series – presented by Jenni Falconer, who’s cooking along with our taste kitchen chefs Stewart Nichol and Ed Fraser.

The first episode is out now, where Jenni cooks a delicious open toasted salmon sandwich with Stewart.

We’re really excited about this new opportunity with parkrun to share some amazing recipes which are quick, easy and deliciously healthy too.

Episodes are released every Saturday at 10am on parkrun’s official YouTube account. You can also follow the parkrun blog where they’ll be sharing the recipe information for each episode every week. I hope you all enjoy getting your running shoes on and tuning into Cook with Co-op for some healthy eating inspiration.

  1. This sounds great, I’ll be trying to watch one this weekend. As a nutritionist by training it’s always great to see cookery programme and sharing of cooking skills. Exercise and nutrition are very important to our health. As a member pioneer it would be great of we had more information about partnership and so we can share locally.
