What better way to end this gloomy January with some free delicious products, cooking inspiration and free stuff!

There’s something to look forward to every day this week, and to kick things off with a bang, you have the chance to win a mouth-watering GRO hamper.

Our amazing Foodology chefs have come up with some tasty vegan recipes. Show us your culinary skills and make either the vegan mango salad or the vegan coconut rice pudding. Share your pictures with us on social using #Itswhatwedo.

To be in with a chance of winning an amazing GRO hamper, head to https://coopsocialhub.sprinklr.com/ and share ANY GRO post from there, and your automatically entered. Full T&Cs for this competition can be found here.

Why not try a free GRO product

Have you managed to try anything from our GRO range yet? The brand launched last year and all products are 100% vegan and deliciously plant based. This year, we kick-started Veganuary with some amazing new products and improved recipes on others.

If you haven’t given GRO a go yet, there’s no excuse now! Click on the Co-op App on Tuesday to be greeted with a special colleague offer to try a free GRO product (up to the value of £5).

There’s plenty to choose from – maybe GRO Katsu Curry might take your fancy, or the impossibly delicious GRO Incredible burger.

Whatever you decide to choose, make sure to claim and redeem your offer before Sunday 31 January. If you don’t have access to the Co-op App, you can claim the offer on the Co-op Offers website too. Remember to tell us what you think of the products you try on social media using #Itswhatwedo, or by sharing content within Social Hub.

If you’re not a member yet, sign up today! Being a colleague member gives you access to exclusive offers across our family of businesses all year-round. Like a £10 Co-op Food voucher when you sign up to Co-op Health and discounts when buying a funeral or plan with Co-op Funeralcare. If you aren’t already a member, join as a colleague online.

Helping you eat healthier

As we continue life in lockdown, it’s important to get outside and exercise for both your physical and mental wellbeing.

And if you’re looking for some healthy eating recipes, we can help! We’ve teamed up with Jenni Falconer and parkrun to develop Cook with Co-op. Jenni cooks along with our taste kitchen chefs Stewart Nichol and Ed Fraser.

Episodes are released every Saturday at 10am throughout January on parkrun’s official YouTube account. You can also follow the parkrun blog where they’ll be sharing the recipe information for each episode every week.

We’ve also got some free gear to help you get active

If you sign up to parkrun and the colleague rewards website, you can also get your hands on some exclusive merch to help you on your parkrun journey.

For simply singing up, we’ll send you a free snood to help you get outside in the cold weather. Then, once you start running or walking your 5k (don’t forget to log it on (not)parkrun too), we’ll send you even more exclusive prizes to help keep you motivated.

After completing 3 parkruns, you’ll get a running t-shirt. Complete 10 parkruns and we’ll send you a Co-op water bottle to help keep you hydrated while you’re exercising.

It doesn’t matter if you’re a runner or not, everyone can take part in (not)parkrun. It’s great motivation to help you get out and involved alongside others in your community. Best of all, (not)parkrun is just like parkrun, but you can run any day you like.

If you do decide to lace up your shoes, please remember to practise social distancing and stick to the current government guidelines in your local area*.

There’s even more to share

We have even more recipes, videos and Taste and Tell content being shared through various channels throughout the week. There’s also some wonderful content uploaded into Social Hub which you can share with your social networks this week, so please spread the word about our amazing products and partnerships.

**Current government guidelines state you can go out to exercise once a day in your local area. Please click the links for full guidance for England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.

  1. Only found the Gro offer last night. Too late to use. Gutted ☹

  2. It was a nice gesture to give us money to try the gro range shame the range seems to have disappeared especially fresh

  3. No sign of the gro offer?

  4. Do Council members get access to the Social Hub? I keep being told I am not eligible

  5. Where can we find the GRO offer on the app please? I can’t see anything on mine (I’ve been a colleague member for years and the Togetherness offers all went on okay). Thank you!
