I’m really proud to say that the festival of the year, Uplift 2021, is now live. The festival is a thank you to all our colleagues and your loved ones for everything you’ve done, and continue to do, for our customers, members and each other over the last year.
Over the next two weeks you can enjoy over 140 events and activities, many that are suitable for all the family. We’ve got comedy shows, a pantomime, yoga, dancing, wellness sessions and music including a headline slot from Craig David Presents TS5 – check out the schedule where you can register for sessions here.
In case you haven’t seen, BBC’s Dan Walker will be hosting an amazing discussion with comedian Ruby Wax and international rugby star Gareth Thomas tonight at 7pm – register here.
If you fancy a family movie, we’ve got a treat for Easter Sunday with a screening of Early Man that you can all enjoy!
Most events will be available for a few weeks after they go live, so don’t worry if you can’t make an exact date or time. If you struggle to book onto sessions email firstname.lastname@example.org.
As an extra treat today, you’ll see an offer on your Co-op app for a bag of Mini Eggs to enjoy whilst you watch one of the events. You can choose from Nestle Smartie Mini Eggs (80g), Nestle Smartie Orange Mini Eggs (80g) or Nestle Milkybar Mini Eggs (80g). If you’re not already a colleague member, sign up here.
This is only the beginning of Uplift 2021, though. The festival will be live from 29 March – 11 April, when we’ll take a short break before we coming back with a bang in May. We can’t wait to see you there.
Uplift 2021 further supports our mission of access to mental wellbeing and the work we’re doing with Mind, SAMH and Inspire to bring communities together to improve mental wellbeing. You can find out more here.
