By Laura Talbot, Junior Agricultural Manager

This year marks ten whole years of the Co-op Dairy Group! To celebrate the anniversary, the Farming and Fisheries Team are bringing you a series of Lunch and Learns throughout the month of June, as we pay homage to the incredible work of our Co-op dairy farmers who work tirelessly each day to improve animal welfare, milk quality and their farming environment.

You’ll have a chance to meet the faces behind the milk bottle as we give Co-op colleagues a unique insight into the Co-op Dairy Group. Special guests will include our very own dairy farmer and CDG committee member Willie Flemming, our Co-op Livestock Manager Joseph Keating, our Co-op buyer Adam Williams, as well as our external partners Muller and Kite.

Please see a breakdown of the Lunch and Learn sessions on offer and how you can get involved:

10 Years of the Co-op Diary Group – Past, Present & Future. Thursday 17 June, 1pm

What is the Co-op Diary Group? Why is it so important to the Co-op? And who are faces behind the milk carton? In this Lunch and Learn we’ll be unpacking all these questions and more.

Along with an interview style session there will be an open discussion and a chance to have your questions answered. The interactive session will be held via Teams on the 17 June at 1pm.
