Have you ever dreamed of DJ’ing at a festival? Do you have turntable talent that can really work up a crowd? Well, if the answers are a resounding yes, then we have just the competition for you!

Our first-ever DJ competition provides you the chance to play at our Co-op pop-up stores at either Leeds, Reading, Creamfields or Isle of Wight this summer. We’re looking for colleagues who have a love affair with music, mix like a master and have the energy and enthusiasm to really get our Co-op customers boogying in the aisles.

How will it work?

To enter, simply complete this form. On it, please provide:

  • Which festival you think you’d be most suited to – if dance music is your thing, Creamfields is probably the festival for you, while disco and pop players may be perfect for Leeds, Reading or Isle of Wight Festival
  • Examples of any DJ work you’ve done in the past – it doesn’t matter how big or small it’s been, we really want to see your talent shine through
  • A 15-minute video of a recent mix – remember to bear in mind the genre and feel of the festival you want to play at

Things you need to know

The competition is now open and runs until Thursday 16 July. Winners will be judged on the quality of their DJ’ing and will be notified by Thursday 23 July.

The winners will be also be required to provide a 2-hour pre-recorded set for when they’re on breaks during the festival.

You can read the full T&C’s here.

I’m sure some of you are wondering why Latitude Festival isn’t on the list. We can confirm Latitude Festival is definitely going ahead this year as part of the next set of test events but we’ve decided to leave this one off the DJ competition due to timings, we simply want to give you as much time as possible to apply.
