I’m writing to share the news that Alyson Chadwick, Director of Strategic Projects, will be leaving us on 16 October to pursue other opportunities outside of Co-op.
This follows an earlier review of how we organise central strategy and transformation at a senior leadership level which led to us combining the two areas into one Director role under Rachel Woodman.
Alyson has worked across Co-op for 18 years, spending 12 years working across our banking and insurance businesses before moving across into a broader strategy role in 2012.
She played a significant role in redefining our purpose – championing a better way of doing business for you and your community – before moving into a programme role where she led the relaunch of membership and reset of our community agenda as part of our Rebuild plan.
More recently, Alyson worked as part of the Renew team with a focus on developing our future ambition and growth options, which was followed by a strategic review of Money opportunities this year.
I would like to thank Alyson for her commitment and leadership over the years. Her drive and passion for Co-op will be missed. We wish her all the very best for the future as she moves on to her next career opportunity.
