Over the last three months, colleagues from across Co-op worked together with potential partners on the pitch process and, after a huge amount of work and lots of deliberation, we announced the outcome to the agencies last Friday.
We’re delighted to share the news with you today that Dentsu Aegis Network came out on top and will be working with us as we move to a One Co-op plan.
They have some amazing ideas about how we can use things like localised targeting and personalised digital messaging to help tell a joined up Co-op story in 2019 and beyond. We’ll be using this thinking to help us build a media strategy and plans which convey our message more effectively than ever and give us a real competitive advantage across our markets.
This work has brought a significant cost benefit as part of Fuel for Growth, demonstrating how we can save money whilst increasing the quality of our work at the same time.
We’ll be bringing Dentsu on board over the next two months, ready for them to kick off in January.
