For the whole of October we’re challenging colleagues to do things differently. Let’s see how much money, energy and CO2 we can save by cutting travel, printing in black and white and switching meeting room and computer lights off when we go home. And instead of booking external venues for meetings or events, why not use one of the new spaces here instead (see Friday’s 1 Angel Square email for full details):
- The newly refurbished 9th floor boardroom (we need your help to name this space, so send your ideas to firstname.lastname@example.org)
- GF-C- 04/05 – this can be used as an event space for up to 60 people, or as two smaller meeting rooms
- We’ve also added 20 extra rooms on the booking system, and put 20 more screens in rooms in 1 angel Square and Miller Street
If we all made a couple of changes, it would make a big difference, so please do your bit. We’ll be tracking and reporting on our progress through the month. We’ll update you in November on how we did.
